A
la Carte Dining
in the Peacock Room
Ireland has become
increasingly cosmopolitan. Well travelled Irish people are
coming home from around the globe and bringing back with them
different experiences and tastes. The result is that there
is such a wonderful variety of cuisine on offer. It's good
news for the visitor, because both standards and quality improves
every year and in many places it has become excellent.

As if the breathtaking scenery,
the great golf and fishing, and the warm hospitality were not enough,
Wexford also has some of the finest, freshest food available in
these islands. Renowned for its seafood generally and its salmon
in particular, wonderful vegetables and prime beef and lamb, eating
out in South East is indeed one of the greater pleasures in life.
To us Kilmokea is so much more than just a
business, it is our home, it is our life and we strive to make it
very comfortable and welcoming to all. All our staff are very special
people who live locally and love meeting and looking after guests
at Kilmokea

| Most of the vegetables & all of
our herbs and salad greens are produced organically in the
gardens of Kilmokea. We have our own free range hens who live
in a beautiful apple orchard. Brendan Stafford of Enniscorthy
supplies our meat and all our sea food is caught locally.
Meat in season and fresh fish are our specialties. Recommended
by international good accommodation guides Kilmokea is also
a member of Ireland's prestigious 'The Hidden Ireland' book.

| The
menu at Kilmokea is country house cooking at its best and
a la carte dining is available from 7 pm. The Peacock dining
room overlooks the gardens and has an impressive, interesting
and delicious wine list. |
